Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus and Portugal Football Superstar, has tested Positive for Covid-19

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of Portugal's clash with Sweden after testing positive for Covid-19.

The Portuguese Football Federation confirmed the news in an official statement on Tuesday.


"Cristiano Ronaldo was released from training with the National Team after a positive test for Covid-19, so he will not face Sweden. 


Ronaldo has been sent home from the tournament. He will miss the match against Sweden.


It disclosed that the Juventus forward is doing well,  without symptoms and currently  in two weeks isolation.


"Following  the positive test,  the remaining players underwent test on Tuesday morning,  and all tested negative result and are available to Fernando Santos for training this afternoon."


"The game (against Sweden)  counting for the qualification phase of the Nations League, is scheduled for Wednesday  at 19:45 in Adelaide. "
